The Commonwealth Games


Commonwealth Success For Halliday Lighting.

Following an extremely competitive tender process Halliday Lighting have successfully beaten off stiff competition from all over the globe to secure the floodlighting contract for the new Commonwealth Games Glasgow Green stadium.

The contract worth in excess of £300k covers the design, supply and installation of floodlighting for both the main stadium pitch to 1200 lux and a secondary pitch to 350 lux.

Company Director Derek Halliday commented “It is an honour and real privilege to be involved in such a prestigious project that will leave such an iconic legacy for sport so close to home.”

The project will last for an estimated 4 weeks on site and be completed summer 2013.
