Commonwealth Games
Over 55 years Halliday have been lucky enough to work with
over 1000 sports clubs yet the XX Commonwealth Games have been one of the most
exciting projects and a proud accomplishment for the team.
During the run up to the games Halliday was chosen from a
large list of floodlighting experts from around the world and we have taken
this opportunity to show how quick and efficient we work even under pressure.
The project that was secured just before Christmas consists
of design, supply, replace and maintenance to the existing stadium lighting
systems plus alterations to other pitch.

Rebuilt in the 1990s Hampden Park has received many
adaptations for the 2014 games and without our help spectators would not
witness the true beauty of the sports and stadium.
In less than 200 days the 17 competing categories will be
lit up by some of Hallidays finest work and will be viewed all over the globe
by an estimate from 16 to 29 million.
Quoted as ‘Scotland biggest ever party’ the XX games will be
running from 23rd July to 3rd August 2014. We’ll see you
