Previously supplying sports pitch lighting to Stewart's Melville School Edinburgh we have watched as the school teams have come in to great sporting success over the past year.
Here is a little information about Halliday' envolvement.
Hockey Pitch
We used a 6no 13M galvanised raise & lower columns c/w 20no 2Kw metal halide flat glass sports pitch luminaires to illuminates the pitch to an average level of 350 lux.
The floodlights can be adjusted, switching down to 200 lux
which is a perfect balance for Hockey or fast paced sports.
Training Area
When supplying lighting solutions to the training area we used 13m hockey pitch columns which are illuminated through 6no 2Kw metal halide flat glass luminaires.
The Floodlights helped bring in great success when competing in the Scottish hockey Club Final when both boys 1st X1 Hockey Team and girls 1st X1 hockey team made it to the final.
