New success for Halliday, we have confirmed a floodlighting installation at the Mountbatten School, Romsey, Hampshire.

After analysing 106m x 71m football pitch our team recommended 16 floodlights that emit 200 lux as these would benefit the ground. These have been fitted upon 8 15m columns in custom locations around the field to maximise the floodlights full potential.

Halliday MUGA Project at Old Trafford

Next time you are at the Old Trafford Stadium make sure to take a look at Hallidays new MUGA Pitch Lighting Project. 

The NEW promotional lighting can be found across from the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand. 

The project included installation of 4 8 meter corner masts and 4 1kw floodlights on the 25x20 meter pitch which were custom fitted, wired and running in just a couple of days. The ground was left spotless and the customer was left happy. 

Every projects is custom tailored to the client's pitch, wants and needs for example the floodlights we chose are perfect for MUGA pitches as they produce the correct amount of light needed with very little overspill.

Our Installation and Maintenance teams are both highly experienced and are happy to take on any sports floodlighting service no matter the size we are dedicated to meet any lighting requirements.

New Floodlights for Lymm RFC provided by Halliday Lighting 

At the switch-on, Simon Plumb, Lymm RFC President, Martin Wroe,Cheshire RFU President,John Cartwright,Chairman, Lymm FC and Bill Beaumont, Chairman of the RFU.

One of England’s former captains and British Lions Bill Beaumont was there to switch on the new Lymm RFC Floodlights.
The Chairman of RFU and ruby legend was optimistic in the future of club stating that improvements like these are the way forward.


Host of the Cheshire Cup final Lymm watched as Sale FC won the cup against Caldy RUFC 26 -21.

The Club's President Simon Plumb mentions in his review Lymm have struggled with insufficient floodlights for years and this investment will be a great help when training.

Lymm RFC generates funds through activity from volunteers and the Lymm Grass Roots Appeal which go directly into improving the rugby club’s organisation. 

Lymm Grass Roots Sports Appeal raised enough money for the project.

Bill Beaumont comment :

 ‘Lymm is a great example of how to run a sustainable, amateur, community-centred rugby club. This is the way to do it!’ he said. ‘They get my wholehearted support and I congratulate them.’
